Celebrate Labor Day in the unique setting of Rastoke, where nature, dance, and good vibes come together for an unforgettable experience.
Mostovi plešu (Bridges Dance) returns this year with a full day of movement, music, creativity, and socializing – set in one of Croatia’s most beautiful locations, along the Slunjčica River and the waterfalls of Rastoke.

DANCE & WORKSHOPS FOR EVERYONE
Dance with us on a unique outdoor stage and explore a variety of dance styles – no experience required.
We are proud to continue our long-standing collaboration with Fredi Dance Center and Obrt International, bringing top-quality dance programs to this year’s event.
Workshops and performances will be led by Tihomir Ciglar, licensed trainer and international dance judge, along with dance pair Luka Kovač and Lara Senkić.
Join in, learn new moves, and enjoy dancing in the relaxed atmosphere of Rastoke.
SLUNJ MAJORETTES
On May 1, the Slunj Majorettes will take over Rastoke with captivating choreography and performances, giving visitors a chance to enjoy the art of majorette dance.
SPECIAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN: TREASURE HUNT ACROSS THE BRIDGES
Through this fun and interactive workshop, children explore Rastoke with the help of a map and engaging tasks.
At themed stations (water, stone, wood, bridge, wind), they discover nature through play and, by the end, become “Guardians of the Bridges”, receiving a symbolic reward.
Throughout the adventure, forest fairies guide the children, bringing the experience to life and sparking their imagination.
ART & ANIMATION
During the day, you will encounter playful and mystical characters – stilt walkers and nature-inspired dance performers.
Their interaction with visitors adds extra charm and excitement to the atmosphere.
And expect a few surprises along the way – but we won’t reveal everything just yet!
LOCAL PRODUCTS & SOUVENIRS
From 11:00 to 16:00, local artisans, producers, and artists will showcase their products on the St. John Nepomuk Bridge.
Take the opportunity to explore authentic local crafts and find unique souvenirs from Slunj.
LABOR DAY CELEBRATION
The event is part of the Labor Day celebrations, supported by the City of Slunj and UHBDR Slunj, Cetingrad, and Rakovica.
A DJ program will keep the atmosphere lively throughout the day, and from 14:00, enjoy socializing over free traditional May Day bean soup.
